Tim and his wife, Carmen, have lived the American Dream and believe strongly in giving back to the community that helped them succeed by supporting local Montana charities. As parents to four beautiful kids ranging from 4 to 10 years old there’s nothing more important than passing along the values of service and charity to them.
The Sheehys are supporting pediatric health care improvement, neonatal intensive care, and trauma care and building a larger library and playground for children, among other philanthropic causes.
Bringing Upgraded NICU and Pediatric Care to SW Montana
Tim and Carmen believe in expanding access to critical health care services. Their generosity helped bring the upgraded neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) to the Gallatin Valley to provide critical care to at-risk infants. This allowed Bozeman Health to provide specialty pediatric services ranging from surgeries to behavioral health.
Montana’s First Level I Trauma Center
Tim and Carmen helped Billings Clinic establish Montana’s first Level I Trauma Center, which made it the only one in a 550-mile radius that includes all of Montana and Wyoming. With a Level I Trauma Center, seriously injured patients have a 25% greater survival rate if treated and able to get care there.
Montana Heritage Center Construction
Tim and Carmen are supporting the construction of the Montana Heritage Center in Helena to highlight Montana’s history.
Belgrade Library Upgrades and Playground
Tim and Carmen are helping build a new, larger library in Belgrade, including a dedicated children’s space and a bigger outdoor playground, a teen-specific library space and study area, added computers and improved technology, and a makerspace for classes and all-ages creative programming.
