Belgrade, MT – Tim Sheehy for Montana has launched a new ad in the 2024 campaign for U.S. Senate. This 30-second ad, titled “America First,” will run across Montana on broadcast, cable, satellite television, and digital advertising.
“Politicians like Jon Tester talk tough on China. I’ve actually done something about the threats we face,” former Navy SEAL, aerial firefighter and conservative candidate for U.S. Senate in Montana, Tim Sheehy said in the ad. “As a Navy SEAL, I led covert operations around the world to defend our American values. Then I built a Montana manufacturing business with zero supply chain dependence on China. Now I’m working to strengthen Montana beef production and stop the Chinese from undercutting our ranchers.”
Jon Tester’s Record Exposed: Weak on China
Jon Tester likes to talk tough on China – even calling them “the greatest threat facing our nation” but his record shows he’s another liberal career politician who is weak on China.
- Tester said the Chinese Spy Balloon did not “put our national security at risk.” Then, Tester let President Biden and Chairman Xi off the hook by letting it fly over Montana and across the country, collecting valuable intelligence from sensitive U.S. military sites.
- Tester’s open border agenda is allowing Chinese fentanyl to enter our country, killing over 70,000 Americans a year and becoming the leading cause of death in adults.
- On Tester’s watch, “Chinese ownership of U.S. farmland has increased fivefold over the past decade, according to U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) data, from 69,000 acres in 2011 to almost 384,000 acres in 2021.” Despite this disturbing trend, Tester waited until 2023, just ahead of his reelection, to introduce a bill to block China from buying American farmland.
- Tester opposed President Trump’s tough on China tariffs.
